Aldi Australia has announced a big change coming to its center aisle on April 13.
The popular retailer will launch its ‘ALDImania’ streetwear range for the first time instead of its usual Special Buy offering.
The Aldi-branded product includes a double-walled mug that closely resembles the popular Stanley cups and a pair of Adidas-style flip-flops.
There will also be hoodies, sweatshirts and sweatpants just in time for winter.
The Aldi-branded product includes a double-walled mug that looks a lot like the popular Stanley mugs and some “Adidas-style” slides.
The streetwear range also includes cool accessories like bucket hats, beanies and “crisp white sneakers.”
This is the first time Aldi has launched its own streetwear collection and comes after the success of non-fashion retailers such as KFC which have done the same.
ALDI Australia Purchasing Manager for ALDImania, Belinda Grice, is looking forward to the global launch.
“Designed to celebrate and champion our shoppers, this new range is made specifically with ALDI budgets in mind, without compromising quality or comfort,” he told FEMAIL.
“Containing recycled or sustainably sourced materials, this unique collection has been designed to create a mix-and-match aesthetic, so customers can inject their own style across the range.”
“We love the excitement and enthusiasm our shoppers have and look forward to seeing them share this passion overseas with our first ALDImania collection.”
