The three-bedroom home where Meghan Markle lived while filming Suits in Toronto has gone on sale for CAD1.9m (£1.1m)

The Toronto home where Meghan Markle lived while she was winning Prince Harry’s heart has been put up for sale for the second time.

Before becoming the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan rented the three-bedroom home in Toronto for at least two years, where she hosted the royals during their long-distance relationship.

Harry would reportedly travel to Toronto twice a month to visit Meghan while she was filming the legal drama Suits.

It was also home to Meghan’s two beloved dogs, Bogart and Guy, whose kennel and pup play area, complete with sandbox, was located outside in the garden where she was known to host summer barbecues for friends.

Described as a detached property with “elegant” and high-end finishes, the property which holds fond memories for Prince Harry has recently undergone a renovation.

In 2018, a year after Meghan moved to London, it sold for $1.6m (£900,000). It is now on the market for $1.9m (£1.1m).

The front door is painted Tiffany blue, according to the listing, and the property features two “spa-inspired” bathrooms.

Equipped with a double garage (and a Tesla charger), the home is said to be in a location “prized by families, academics and celebrities” due to its proximity to “excellent schools,” five supermarkets and even an ice rink.

‘Don’t miss this unique opportunity!’ the listing said.

The former actress has clearly climbed the property ladder since marrying into the Royal Family.

The £19.5m Tuscan-style mansion she shares in Montecito, California, with Prince Harry and their two children has seven bedrooms, 13-and-a-half bathrooms, a cinema room, gym, swimming pool and chicken coop.

The couple’s living room is home to a grand piano owned by actor and director Tyler Perry, whose Beverly Hills mansion they first stayed in after moving from Canada.

In an interview with The Cut, the Duchess of Sussex, 43, shared how her Southern California home makes her “feel free” and is “calm and healing.”

The magazine revealed features of the property including two connected palm trees in the garden, which Prince Harry refers to as himself and Meghan.

Even Archie calls the vegetation “mom” and “dad” when he walks by.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex even share an office with “two plush armchairs placed side by side behind a single desk, facing out into the room like thrones,” according to the magazine.

Scattered throughout the mansion are Soho Houses candles.

Meghan and Harry are said to have gone on a blind date at Soho House’s Dean Street Townhouse.

Allison P. Davis wrote for the Cut magazine: “The Montecito house is the kind of grandeur that surprises you and reminds you that unimaginable wealth is actually someone’s everyday reality.”

The writer compared it to a classic Tuscan villa, a Napa vineyard and a Beverly Hills country club.

The Sussexes are said to have returned to their Montecito mansion after concluding their pseudo-royal tour of Colombia.

During the four-day trip, the couple delighted fans by speaking Spanish, playing the bongos and caressing each other during a passionate salsa dance.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were welcomed by Colombian Vice President Francia Márquez and her husband Rafael Yerney Pinillo.
