A health worker is being hunted by police after hitting an elderly woman with a saucepan in her own home.
Dorothy, 95, was being cared for by Medflyt’s female aide at the Home Health Care Agency on July 21 when she was attacked.
His daughter and granddaughters watched the attack live on cameras installed around the Harlem apartment, but were unable to stop it.
The video shows the enraged Medflyt yelling at Dorothy “You’re bothering me” before violently throwing two objects in her direction.
Dorothy, 95, was being cared for by Medflyt’s female aide at the Home Health Care Agency on July 21 when she was attacked.
Later in the video he hit her with a saucepan, which Dorothy blocked with her arm, and then threw the saucepan over her head.
The caregiver then returned with another frying pan to Dorothy and repeatedly hit her in the head while she was clinging to her walker, until she fell to the ground.
Dorothy was battered and bruised by the attack, has trouble lifting her arms and is still in pain and doctors are concerned about possible blood clots.
Her daughter Ramona Mitchell was outside the apartment and received a call from her daughter, who was watching the attack on her phone.
She said her other daughter, Tiffany, called Michelle and told her her grandmother was being attacked, and called Ramona crying.
The caregiver approached Dorothy with a saucepan and repeatedly hit her on the head while she clung to her walker.

Dorothy’s daughter, Ramona Mitchell, was outside the apartment and received a call from her daughter, who was watching the attack on her phone.
“Tiffany just told me that the little girl hit her, Michelle was crying and screaming on the train ‘oh my God, grandma has been hit’,” she said. ABC 7.
Michelle said watching the “horrible” attack was a “nightmare” and one of the worst days of her life.
“I felt helpless… it was the worst thing I could have imagined,” she said.
“It seemed so unreal to me that someone could hit someone like they were being hit.”
The police are looking for the worker, but have not yet found her in order to arrest her.
“We are conducting an internal investigation, along with the New York City Police Department, and are cooperating with authorities,” Medflyt said.
