Larry Emdur has given his fans an update after taking home the Gold Logie on Sunday night.

The TV host filmed a video from his couch and shared it on Instagram on Monday.

In the clip, Larry had a noticeably hoarse voice and appeared exhausted but in excellent spirits.

“Last night was the best night of my life,” Larry began, before explaining that he had received a lot of messages from people wishing him well.

“I’m trying to respond to all these messages. I’ve literally received hundreds and hundreds of messages, and as soon as I respond to 20, I get 50 more,” he said, amazed.

“There are hundreds of emails I’ve been trying to answer, and every time I reply to 10 direct messages, I get 20 more,” she added.

Larry then shared the physical toll the awards show had taken on him during the night.

“Oh my god, my feet hurt so much. My toes hurt from texting so much. I have a terrible headache. My bum hurts from the tattoo,” she revealed, referring to the Logies-themed tattoo she had gotten that morning.

“But the good news is that I finally got the twins to sleep,” Larry concluded, before panning the camera to his two Logies tucked under a blanket.

Larry swore and referenced a part of the female anatomy in a hilarious profanity-laced victory speech after winning the coveted Gold Logie on Sunday night.

Taking to the stage at the Logies ceremony in Sydney, The Morning Show presenter got the crowd roaring, making light of the number of times his shows have been cancelled over the years and his wide range of questionable hosting work.

‘YO “I just remembered that I said if I won this, I would get all the nominees’ initials tattooed on my butt tomorrow live,” she began, drawing laughter from the audience.

IThe next day he was forced to fulfill a strange promise he had made the previous week: take off his pants live at a breakfast and get a tattoo on his butt.

The Morning Show presenter, 59, found himself in a compromising position on Monday when he had the initials of fellow Gold Logie nominees permanently etched into his skin.

“I’m sorry, Sylvie (his wife), I know we had planned to go to a fancy hotel, but it looks like I’m going to be doing squats all night,” he continued during his speech.

“(Sunrise host) Nat Barr looks at me like, ‘Honey, I’ve got to get up in 25 minutes,'” she continued, referencing the awards ceremony that lasted nearly six hours.

‘I love this business. I love being on television and I never wanted to do anything else.

‘Whether it’s sitting on the couch on The Morning Show interviewing Lindy Klim, who has invented a new product: a face mask for vulvas; or a 300-pound truck driver who has won on The Price Is Right by having dry sex with me; or being the most fired man on television.’

It was a night of victory for Larry, who had previously picked up his first Logie, the Silver Bert Newton Award for Most Popular Presenter.

The 59-year-old TV star has been a recognisable face on Australian screens since the age of 19 but has never previously claimed a win at the prestigious awards ceremony.
