- Breeze Harley said it was because her bangs didn’t touch up but it got shorter
- Her boyfriend sent her a clip revealing that a guinea pig was eating the boy’s hair
A mum shared a funny video after finding out why her baby’s bangs had mysteriously disappeared.
Breez Harley, from Canada, recently took to TikTok to reveal that she noticed Ben Lander’s hair was “getting shorter and shorter,” but she didn’t touch his locks.
“My kid has long hair and he’s a boy, and I noticed my bangs look like someone cut them short,” she said in the short clip, which has more than 2.5 million views at the time of writing.
So I was like what the hell, what’s going on? They keep getting shorter and shorter. Looks like you have a mullet.

Breeze said she then received a video from her boyfriend while she was at work.
His TikTok takes to his video where Lander is seen standing near the cage of a pet pet and shared his theory about what was happening to the little boy’s hair.
“You see Lander putting his head in here, and guinea pigs… they come and chew his hair,” Breeze’s friend said, pointing to the bars of the cage. “Look how uneven the bangs are.”
Her boyfriend could barely contain his laughter as he filmed the video.
“I’m sure the guinea pigs were cutting his hair,” he said.
As if on cue, Lander raised his head against the bars and Breeze’s partner caught the guinea pig chewing on the boy’s hair on camera, confirming his theory.
Lander, get your head out of there, you’ll be bald, said the friend, hearing the laughter.
Viewers who watched the video were equally amused.

It was then revealed in a video sent to the mother by her boyfriend that Lander had been resting his head on the bars of his pet guinea pig’s cage.

And in doing so, the guinea pig was chewing on the little boy’s hair
“Much better than I could have imagined,” one wrote.
“My roommate had hair going over her butt and slept with Guinea and woke up to her screaming.” Another added.
A third TikTok user said, “Nobody would have believed him if he hadn’t caught her on video…because I was hesitant at first.”
‘He didn’t choose the life of a mullet…he chose it as his guinea pig,’ another wrote.
But it’s not the first time a pet has been caught chewing on its owner’s hair.
Former Kentucky hairstylist Gara Sullivan has revealed that she woke up from a drunken sleep to discover her hair had been gnawed off by a bald guinea pig.

The video has been viewed more than 2.5 million times at the time of writing, and people are thrilled at the revelation
She had been out celebrating Thanksgiving in 2021 and after returning home after getting very drunk decided to curl up on the floor with her three year old guinea pig Dixie.
The 29-year-old said she was in a deep sleep and only discovered this when she looked in the mirror the next morning.
At first she was terrified of her chewing, but then her terror turned into fear that her beloved pet had swallowed clumps of her hair and could be sick.
But Gara said she felt some relief when she discovered a pile of her chewed strands next to a guilty-looking Dixie—kidding on the naked creature jealous of her flowing locks.
