A heartbreaking 911 call revealed what may have led to the gruesome murder-suicide of a wealthy Utah couple.

Olin Johnson, 57, of American Fork, shot and killed his 52-year-old wife, Kerilyn Johnson, in their $1.5 million home last month before turning the gun on himself.

One of Johnson’s six children was the one who found the bodies and called 911; the eight-minute call shed light on what led to the shocking tragedy.

The first caller says, “I think my dad killed my mom, but then he killed himself.”

Asked to elaborate, he adds, “There’s been a lot of drama in the house lately. Just in the last four days.”

“There was a case like a year or two ago where I think my mom… I don’t know, my dad was throwing stuff all over the house… He went to jail for a while, but nothing, I don’t think there was any physical contact,” the caller tells the 911 operator.

An obituary for the couple reads: 'We mourn for Olin, too, despite his actions.'

Police have not revealed the motive for the couple’s deaths.

The couple met while studying at Brigham Young University and seemed to have it all, including their impressive family home in a pretty town north of Salt Lake City.

Her social media pages are evidence of a life well lived, with plenty of time spent with her children, some of whom were married.

An obituary for the couple reads: “As we deal with immense grief, mourning the loss of Kerilyn, our beautiful mother, daughter and sister, we also grieve for Olin, despite his actions.”

A GoFundMe has been created to help the six siblings.

The page description reads: ‘It is hoped that you will not have to bear the financial burden of paying funeral expenses and other unexpected costs in the coming weeks and months.

‘The love that many have for this family is immense.’

Olin posted a chilling final message on Instagram before shooting his wife and then killing himself.

The day before his murder-suicide, he wrote alongside a photo: “No matter how bad a person I am, motorcycles always love me. Oh, and skiing. Skiing loves me too.”

Olin can be seen wearing his helmet while sitting on his Triumph motorcycle, one of his favorite hobbies.

Two of his children responded directly to their father’s post.

“You are not a bad person. You are the best father in the world,” wrote one of his sons, Dillon Bay.

“I love you Dad and I loved that you taught me how to be tough and ride a motorcycle!” added his daughter, Savanna.

Police rushed to the scene last month after receiving reports that two people had been shot after another family member discovered the bodies.

“Based on the investigation, it appears Olin fatally shot Kerilyn before turning the gun on himself,” American Fork police said in a statement.
