Disturbing footage captured the moment a Sydney Swans supporter clashed with a group of pro-Palestinian protesters after a demonstration.
The violent fight broke out between the man and the group near a pub in Melbourne on Sunday.
A demonstration for Free Palestine was held around midday, where protesters marched from the State Library to Victoria’s Parliament House.
Dramatic footage shared on TikTok by a bystander showed the AFL fan, who was wearing a Sydney Swans scarf around his neck, confronting a bearded protester.
The two men came face to face before the bearded man wearing a black t-shirt asked the Swans supporter ‘what are you going to do?’
The Swans supporter, who was wearing a white T-shirt and blue jean shorts, was heard telling the man to fuck off.
Moments later, a group of nearby protesters pounced on the man, who a few seconds earlier had been pushed in the chest by another.
The Swans supporter backed away as the group of protesters appeared to attempt to continue the altercation.
A man wearing a black shirt and dark-colored jeans, who appeared to be an employee of a nearby pub, intervened and tried to restrain one of the protesters who had a Palestinian flag wrapped around him.
The group of men continued to attack the Swans supporter while other AFL fans, including women, restrained him.

Some protesters could be heard saying “stop” repeatedly as bystanders and staff tried to calm the situation as tensions boiled over.
The footage ended with the Swans fan running into the venue to escape while staff prevented pro-Palestinian protesters from following him.
The footage has since gone viral on Twitter and TikTok, leaving viewers divided.
“Please show us the full scenario,” one wrote.
The pro-Palestine supporter who filmed the incident and originally shared it online has since removed the footage or made it private.
The altercation unfolded before the Swans’ clash against Hawthorn at the MCG.
A Victoria Police spokesperson told WhatsNew2Day Australia that officers were not called to the incident nor had it been reported.
