A Florida police officer and a pregnant woman have been charged with assault and battery for beating their boyfriend after finding out he was cheating on them both.
Spurned lovers Anna Elicia Perez, Miami-Dade officer, 34, and Mila Zuloaoga, 35, seven months pregnant, went to Miller’s Ale House in Palmetto Bay on May 26 shortly after midnight to confront the man about his unfaithful actions. .
The verbal quarrel then turned into a “public slap”. The women ‘slapped the victim in the face and upper body with their hands repeatedly’, according to a police report, FoxNews reported.
The victim, whose name has not been released, “had persistent redness on her face and a small bruise on her lower lip,” according to the police report.
The two women were arrested on Friday and charged with one count of battery in relation to the alleged assault, the outlet reported.

Perez allegedly roughed up her cheater beau and told fellow Miami-Dade officers that she pushed and punched him multiple times, CBS News reported.
Zuloaga was taken to the MDPD sSpecial Victims Office and Perez was transported to Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Facility.
It’s unclear what position Perez holds within the police department and how long she’s been on the force.
After the assault, Perez was relieved of her duties with pending pay until the state’s attorney reviews the case, according to a report.
Miami-Dade Police Superintendent Freddy Ramirez said Monday he was “disappointed with the actions of this officer.”
“We are held to a higher standard of conduct both on and off duty. Although this officer was off duty, his behavior was unacceptable and goes against the core values of our department,’ Ramirez said in a statement.
“We will work closely with the state’s attorney’s office and ensure a thorough and transparent investigation.”
