Kim said she prefers dental floss over regular floss for one simple reason.
“I love flossing because if you look at the anatomy of your tooth, it’s very rounded, so I don’t really like toothpicks,” Kim admitted.
She also added that you can use a water flosser after you’ve flossed.
“For those asking about water flossers, they’re great, but they shouldn’t be your primary source of use, I just think they’re a great supplemental tool,” she explained.
Next, of course, you brush your teeth, either with the Oral B electric toothbrush, which starts at $29.99, or with a very soft-bristled toothbrush.
Kim suggested Colgate’s $4 soft-bristle toothbrush, which she says is really gentle.

After a good brushing, he uses a tongue scraper, something that is absolutely essential in his opinion.
“You just have to go ahead and apply gentle downward pressure and you’ll literally scrape all the bacteria off your tongue,” she shared.
Interestingly, tongue scraping has many oral benefits such as fresher breath, better taste, and promotes overall good health. Cleveland Clinic.
Kim explained that she likes to use mouthwash after scraping her tongue.
“If you want a gentle mouthwash, this one from Thera Breath is the best,” she said of the $9.79 product.
‘I like to use it three times a week, but since it’s alcohol-free, you can use it every day.’
And finally, for those who wear retainers like Kim, she suggests using denture cleaning tablets with a soft toothbrush to keep them shiny and fresh once a week.
