The bizarre sight of a cow stuck on the roof of a gas station has the locals baffled and sparked an extraordinary rescue operation.
The fiberglass cow, which is believed to have been stolen from a nearby primary school weeks ago, was seen perched above a Vibe petrol station on the South Western Highway in Western Australia on Sunday.
The police and SES were called to the scene but they didn’t have the tools to get the cows off the ground – and they don’t know how he got there in the first place.
A callout was made to anyone who might be able to move the plastic animal, as a small, confused crowd gathered at the petrol station.
One resident offered to use his cherry picker to take it down.

The process involved one man driving the crane while another tied the cow to the platform.
Then the cow was lifted from the roof and slowly lowered into the roof the earth.
The cow, known as Mosley, had come from a local primary school and had gone missing weeks earlier.
An onlooker claimed that it was stolen from the school by thieves and placed on the roof.
They said, “The cow was taken from the (school) garden by some people who clearly don’t care about our children.” Western Australia.
