Iconic Australian actor Brian Wenzel has died aged 94.
He passed away peacefully in an Adelaide nursing home, leaving behind a legacy spanning more than seven decades in the entertainment industry.

Wenzel became a household name in Australia thanks to his portrayal of upstanding Sergeant Frank Gilroy in A Country Practice, a series that captured the hearts of viewers from 1981 to 1993.
His outstanding performance earned him a TV Week Silver Logie for Best Actor, cementing his status as one of the country’s most respected television actors.
Beginning his acting career at the tender age of 17, Wenzel first appeared on stage in a comedy show, laying the foundation for a distinguished career that would see him frequently cast in roles of criminals, criminals and thugs over the decades. in the 1960s and 1970s on hit shows such as Homicide, Division 4 and Matlock Police.
