A concert in Nashville, Tennessee, quickly turned patriotic over the weekend after a country music star, known professionally as Hardy, shared a message for anyone who hates America.
In just two blunt words, the star said: “Fuck you.”
While performing at Neyland Stadium on Friday, he addressed the crowd and said he had seen a lot of people posting and “talking shit” about living in the United States of America and defended the nation in front of thousands of people.
“As a citizen of the United States, I say: fuck you!” he said, raising his middle finger in the air.
The country music star, known professionally as Hardy, stood up for America and criticized America-haters at his concert in Nashville on Friday.

‘If you don’t like living here, then go live somewhere else, motherfucker. America is the best country on this planet!’
Hardy highlighted the madness that has been brewing over the past year, especially in the midst of the upcoming election.
But he shared how ‘very proud’ he was to be an American, stating that there are thousands of people working hard every day to defend the land of the free.
“They risk their lives so we can go to concerts!” he said before introducing his next song.
Hardy addressed the crowd, saying he was “very proud” to be an American, a place where people work very hard every day “so we can go to concerts.”
The crowd went wild after his patriotic speech, cheering, clapping and screaming for the country star.
And hundreds of users on X, formally known as Twitter, seem to agree with him wholeheartedly.
One user said: “Hardy! Very good in concert and speaks the TRUTH!”
Another user said: ‘I don’t know who Hardy is but I’m a fan now.’
This comes amid celebrities and other entertainers facing backlash for their views and opinions on the state of the country.
On Saturday, Grammy-winning rapper Macklemore was caught on video saying “fuck America” on stage while performing during a pro-Palestine festival in Seattle, according to AS.
The comment was met with cheers from the crowd, but faced a very different reaction on social media.
Many believed that the artist was criticizing a country that allows people like him to become stars and succeed in life.
One X user wrote: “It’s a disgrace. This country made Macklemore’s rise possible. Where else could he have become rich and famous?”
Another user said: “He’s happy to receive US dollars though. Hypocrite.”
The Seattle Kraken and Seattle Sounders FC issued a joint statement following Macklemore’s comments, noting that they are aware of his “increasingly diverse comments” and that they do not reflect their values, KOMO added.
On Tuesday, a Seattle Mariners spokesperson provided KOMO News with a statement that read, “We are aware of the incident and agree with the other teams in the city: sports and music should connect us, not divide us.”
Macklemore has been vocal on certain issues and has used his art to release controversial songs.

“Hey Kamala, I don’t know if you’re listening, but stop sending money and weapons or you won’t win Michigan. We have no commitments and we certainly won’t change our position because the whole world becomes Palestinian,” the song’s lyrics say.
As election season approaches, the country seems even more divided, but Hardy’s patriotic speech to the crowd seemed to briefly unite concertgoers and social media.
