“We’ve created an experience for the public to see the world through the lens of a chef,” he explained.

Sydney, who starred in the hit TV show Some Assembly Required, added: “From the first night we started talking about this idea because of our love for entertainment.”

Meanwhile, Jesse revealed that he wanted the show to be completely authentic, adding that the rise of influencers had created a very misleading culture.

She told DailyMail.com: “I wanted to create something that was authentic to me. Nowadays, shows are all about setting up the camera and making it very influencer-like, which is great, but that’s not who I am.”

The chef also said he wanted food lovers to get a glimpse of what really goes on behind the kitchen curtain.

“When you go to a restaurant, you don’t get to see the meat on the bone,” he added.

And in true reality TV fashion, Jesse assured fans that there’s plenty of drama in store.

“There will certainly be some controversy, the public will wonder what kind of relationships exist beyond what they see. There is a certain ambiguity, a certain sexual tension,” he confessed.
