The joyous night out for the former I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here contestant comes after she opened up about her personal heartbreak.

Helen has three children – Matilda, nine, Delilah, six, and Charlie, three – with ex-fiancé Scott Sinclaire, but the couple split in 2022 before she walked down the aisle.

While struggling with her emotions, she also had a terrifying reaction to her ADHD medication that plunged her into psychosis.

“I wasn’t really feeling very well,” she recalls now. “Basically, between December and January, I was having mental health issues, so I took my medication to try and feel better, but unfortunately that just made things worse.”

It took Helen weeks to recover, during which she was forced to pull out of a touring production of Cluedo that she hoped would mark her return to the dramatic spotlight.

She was eventually replaced by her former co-star and Strictly Come Dancing winner Ellie Leach, but will be making her return on Celebs Go Dating.

Helen is best known for playing Rosie Webster in Coronation Street from 2000 to 2012, and her character had an affair with her teacher John Stape while in sixth form (pictured in the soap).

Dating agent Anna Williamson, 42, revealed Helen came incredibly close to being booted from Celebs Go Dating after breaking one of the agency’s rules.

Speaking about the juicy series, which will air later this year, Anna said: The sun:Helen, I just adore her.

‘What I will say about her though, and I don’t want to spoil anything, is that Helen has the most unexpected plot twist we’ve had in the history of Celebs Go Dating.

”Two weeks ago, Helen was almost expelled from the agency. She did something very serious that goes against all the agency’s rules.”
