A bloody shocking scene where Jeremy Renner is crushed by a seven-ton snow plow

Date:

Jeremy Renner pondered his presence, wondering if he’d be ‘just a spine and a brain’ as horrific photos of the place being pulverized by a seven-ton snow plow just months after the horrific accident were revealed.

Renner was using a Snowcat plow trying to help his adult nephew, Alexander Fries, pull his car out of deep snow when he jumped out of it, forgetting to put the emergency brake on.

The plow started to pull towards his nephew and it is believed that the 52-year-old attempted to return to the snowplow as it was moving in an attempt to stop it. This is when he was pulled under and crushed.

In his first interview since the Jan. 1 incident near his home in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, the 52-year-old also revealed that he signed the word “I’m sorry” for his family who sat next to him while the Avengers star recuperated.

He suffered 30 broken bones, a collapsed lung, and his liver was punctured by a crushed rib in a horrific death-defying accident on New Year’s Day.

I moved my legs, and said, This person really messed up. “That leg is going to be a problem,” he said.

What does my body look like? Will I just be like my spine and brain like a science experiment? Is this me now? How will my existence be?

Sitting in his wheelchair talking to ABC’s Diane Sawyer, Renner was in tears as he revealed the moments he spent in the hospital when he couldn’t even speak to his loving family who were desperate to see him survive the accident.

“I was signing I’m sorry, because I’m sorry,” he said before talking about how his mother never left him.

“She’s reading Stephen King, something awful.” But she read it as if she was reading Dr. Seuss to me.

“I just wanted him to hear my voice,” said his mother, Valerie Sirley.

Surley broke down when she recounted the moment she heard about her son’s accident. “His breathing was so awful,” she said.

Pictures from the scene showed a pool of blood where Renner was crushed. His neighbor, Rich Kovac, recalls the moment he made the horrific 911 call that would finally save his life.

“The sounds that were coming out of it,” he said, “there was a lot of blood in the snow.”

When I looked at his head, it seemed to me wide open, and I could see the white, I don’t know if that was his skull, maybe it was just my imagination, but that’s what I thought I saw. “

His partner, Barb Fletcher, said she did not know who he was but could remember “a lot of blood coming from his head”.

I grabbed one of the towels that was still folded and just pressed. I could tell he was really struggling to breathe.

Fries, who was next to his uncle, remembers telling him to breathe.

“Just breathe, just breathe.” That’s it. I stood over him in this squat position holding his arm the whole time, seconds after that guy came over.

It was just that. I locked him up.

Renner said he refuses to be a victim of the situation.

“So I change the narrative of being a victim, or making a mistake, or whatever,” he said.

I refuse to be haunted by that memory, and in this way I speak to my family, all their terrifying views.

We just endured, that’s true love. Suffering, but that nourishes the seeds of what love is.

Renner broke 30 bones, including his ankles, right knee, right collarbone, and eight ribs.

He had a collapsed lung and his liver was punctured by one of his broken ribs.

Jeremy Renner: The Diane Sawyer Interview – A Tale of Survival and Triumph Horror will air on ABC Thursday, April 6 at 10pm EST.
