Four strangers decided to sit in a 2024 Nissan Sentra for 10 days at the Oklahoma State Fair in hopes of winning a new car.
Brian Richmond, Chris Deschner, Christy Myers and Shaun began entering the contest on September 12 with great enthusiasm.
“I was browsing Facebook late at night and thought, ‘Why not? I’ll give it a try,'” said Deschner, who traveled from Arkansas.
According to the rules of the contest, whoever of the three residents of Oklahoma or Arkansas can stay inside the vehicle the longest wins.

To further intensify the competition, Oklahoma State Fair spokesman Scott Munz explained that all trash, including food, remains in the car for the entire duration.
“Anything you bring them to eat in the car has to stay in the car. So if you eat half a corn dog and throw the rest in the back, that corn dog stays there,” he said.COCONUT.
“If you eat a turkey leg, you gnaw on the meat and the bone, and all of that stuff stays in the car.”

Contestants are allowed to go to the bathroom every three hours, but other than that they are not allowed to leave the car.
They are also allowed to carry a backpack or similarly sized bag containing personal items or any other necessary items in the car.
Smoking and alcohol consumption are also prohibited.
Shaun noted, “I’ve got a backpack with me. Same thing. We’re not going to let him out too much in the early hours. Maybe on day three we’ll start doing some crafty stuff around here.”
For now, Richmond and Deschner are the only ones left in the “stinking” Sentra.

“We have some strategies in place here, so we’ll see what happens,” Richmond said.
Myers was eliminated on the first day while Shaun left the contest yesterday.
If both Richmond and Deschner manage to stay in the car until the end, another fight will occur, according to the official rules.
The 2024 Stinkin’ Sentra giveaway is a throwback to the 1990s version of the State Fair, where the event was a must-see.
