That’s right, it’s Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage.
He was photographed filming scenes on the set of the new adaptation of William Shakespeare’s King Lear, called Lear Rex. Dinklage plays the Jester in the film.
The Fool is an important character in Shakespeare’s play and acts as a witty and honest advisor to the king, who, through humor and sarcasm, is able to point out Lear’s flaws.
Dinklage was joined by his co-stars Al Pacino, 84, and Stephen Dorff, 51.
The Godfather icon was seen donning royal attire, wearing a black robe underneath a purple robe adorned with gold trim for his day on set.
The actor’s grey hair was rather unkempt, as he also sported a grey beard for the role.
Dorff wore a worn green one-piece garment pinned to one shoulder while makeup highlighted her grungy persona.
He also sported numerous facial tattoos on his arms and had a visible wound on his left leg while wearing a pair of brown sandals.

The story follows an elderly King Lear who divides his kingdom among his three daughters.
Instead of trusting the only daughter who truly cares for him, Lear places his trust in her nefarious sisters.
He is stripped of his power and “condemned to a wretched desert of horror and madness,” according to the description.
The play has been revived on and off-Broadway numerous times, most recently in the 2019 gender-reversed Broadway adaptation starring Glenda Jackson as Lear, Ruth Wilson as The Fool, and Pedro Pascal as Edmund.
