The A $ AP Rocky family has talked about their fears while the rapper stays in a Swedish prison after a fight in Stockholm on June 30.
In an interview with CBS This morning on Wednesday, Rocky & # 39; s cousin, Nikita Rispers, revealed that she was crying after hearing the news.
Rispers & # 39; own son Dave was with Rocky at the time of the street fight and was arrested on July 3 along with the musician and his friend Bladimir Corniel.
& # 39; I couldn't eat, I couldn't sleep, & # 39; Rispers told the news network.
Her husband, David Rispers, was also interviewed in the morning program and insisted that the trio would have acted in self-defense after being harassed by a man who would not stop following them.
& # 39; I don't know what else you can do to make someone stop, & # 39; he said.

The men are expected to know on Thursday whether or not they will be released from prison, as prosecutors close their investigation.
Despite their fear, Nikita and David Rispers say they are hopeful that the trio will be erased and thank President Trump for his diplomatic efforts to release the group.
"For him to really hear what they were saying, and then to do something about it … that made me proud," Rispers said.
Last week President Trump personally took care of Rocky during a telephone conversation with Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven.
Löfven had previously acknowledged that Trump & # 39; has a personal interest in the case & # 39; and said he would welcome an interview with the US president, but emphasized that Rocky would not receive special treatment.

Prosecutors believe that the man who filmed Rocky's crew after being asked to stop following them attacked his bodyguard in self-defense, according to TMZ.
Amateur video of the incident does not show anyone taking physical action against the man who is not mentioned before he threw his headphones on Rocky's bodyguard.
Although the Swedish authorities apparently believe that the man was justified in his actions, they have also cleaned up the bodyguard.

President Donald Trump has vowed to ensure the release of the rapper on bail, although Sweden has no bail system.
There is now fear that the pressure from Trump could force Swedish prosecutors to go even harder on Rocky to prove that they will not be affected.
