This comes after a special education teacher in New Jersey who describes herself online as a “passionate” educator was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting one of her students.
Allison Havemann-Niedrach, 43, a special education teacher at Freehold Middle School in New Jersey, has been arrested, prosecutors announced June 29.
His arrest came after an investigation by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office and the Freehold Police Department revealed that he allegedly began sexually abusing a student earlier this year.
It is unclear how many times he allegedly sexually assaulted the student or how old the student might be, though the middle school only serves students in sixth through eighth grades.
Havemann-Niedrach now faces one count of first-degree aggravated sexual assault and one count of second-degree endangering child welfare, and was seen smiling in her mugshot.
