A pregnant woman due to give birth on Friday and her unborn child died after bad weather caused a tree to fall through their mobile home.
Kristin Browning, 31, nine months pregnant, and her fetus died during Monday’s weather.
According to the Louisiana Department of Health, Browning died after a tree fell on his mobile home in Port Allen, West Baton Rouge Parish.
Her husband Justin Browning and their five-year-old daughter were inside the home at the time and were rushed to the hospital.
WAFB reported that at that time a wind gust of 63 miles per hour was recorded at a nearby community center.

Drone footage captured by WAFB shows the devastation in the local area following the storm.
Neighbor Hank Moses told the outlet, “We all grew up here, we know everyone like family.” “It was hard to watch.”
Moses said downed trees prevented first responders from reaching the family, and he and his father helped them get to the house.
He continued: ‘It’s sad, these trees can be moved, they can be replaced. It’s just sad that a life was lost. It’s hard.’
Authorities also said a woman died in Cecilia, also Louisiana, after a camper overturned due to high winds Monday night.
The storms hit several southern states and affected previously affected areas during one of the most active tornado periods on record.
The National Weather Service confirmed at least 267 tornadoes between April 25 and May 10.
On Monday, more than 15 million people from Texas to Florida were under threat of severe storms and tornadoes.

The area most at risk for severe storms and tornadoes extended from southeastern Texas to much of Louisiana and the Gulf Coast regions of Mississippi and Alabama, and into the Florida Panhandle.
A GoFundMe has since been created for the Browning family following Kristin’s death.
It says: ‘During the severe storms that hit our area last night, a tree fell on the Browning (Kent) family trailer, taking Kristen’s life.
‘If any of you know this family, they are always willing to help anyone who needs it. Now they need our help. Anything you can donate will be greatly appreciated.”
As of Wednesday, GoFundMe surpassed its original goal of $3,000 and had raised more than $19,000.
