‘So just when we decided we were going to leave, the doorbell rang and my mom opened the door and there were just these two people.
“She said, ‘I told them they could take you,’ my cousin had gone missing a few months earlier and her boyfriend at the time found out I was in this facility for impatient patients. I just knew that’s where they were sending me.
“They pushed me into their car and they put my older sister inside crying.”

The 27-year-old opened up about her shocking life within the cult while speaking to Cults to Consciousness podcast host Shelise Ann Sola.
‘They started preparing us for marriage, especially when we turned eight. They moved us to mixed Sunday school classes, where boys and girls were separated.
“That’s when they start talking about marriage and being the perfect wife for their husband… when you think about normal girls planning their weddings, they probably started planning it much later, whereas we were about five years old,” she explained.
Priscilla also revealed that she always hoped to become the second wife of one of the men in the group so she could choose her own last name.
But when she was 17, her family tried to persuade her to marry her cousin or uncle.
Recalling the horrific incident where her family pressured her to marry her cousin, she said, ‘They were trying to convince me to marry him for about six months beforehand and for a while, I just went along with it because everyone in my family wanted us to.
“It was a great It was a strange feeling for me because his mother is my mother’s sister and my father is his father’s uncle, so we were related on both sides.
‘Normally in The Order, when you marry your cousin, you don’t grow up playing with him and doing everything with him. But I did it because it was our mothers who were Sisters.
“It was so weird because her mom was like, ‘Oh my God, I’m so happy because I know you’re going to be amazing and I already know you.'”
Priscilla revealed that she was forced to follow a strict set of rules from a young age and opened up about her brief engagement to her cousin.
“And then our grandmother said, “OhMy goodness, I’m so happy that my two “The grandchildren are getting married.”
Priscilla noted that she went through multiple phases where she simply tried to do everything she was asked to do so that her family “wouldn’t hate her.”
But a few weeks later, she decided to put her foot down and refused to say “I do” while standing at the altar with her cousin.
‘My mother was yelling at me: “How could you do this? You’re going to make him very sad. How can you do this to my sister? How can you do this to me?”
‘She was just trying to guilt trip me and I said, “I’m not doing it, I’m leaving The Order,” so she kicked me out of her house and said I couldn’t come home anymore, so I moved in with my grandmother.
“After that, my grandmother started talking to me about marrying another guy who was already married – he was actually my father’s half-brother,” she admitted.
After that incident, Priscilla realized that no matter who she was with, they would try to marry her into the family.
It was then that he began to plan his escape.

She noted that she and her mother often text each other on birthdays and special holidays, adding that she is not in contact with her family often.
