A 20-year-old woman is killed after a boat capsized in Lake Michigan at 2.40am and she was pinned against a breakwater in a crash that sent four women and two men to hospital
Six people have been pulled from Lake Michigan after a boat collided with a brick wall and capsized.
A seventh woman, aged 20, died in the 4am horror smash, with divers recovering her body trapped under the boat and against the breakwater.
The Chicago Fire Department confirmed the accident happened near Navy Pier on Friday morning, in an area known as the “Children’s Park.”
Four women and two men were rescued from the water, all of them between 20 and 30 years old.
Authorities responded to calls about the boat in distress, with one person remaining in critical condition.

The other five who were pulled from the water are currently hospitalized in serious condition.
Firefighters launched a search for the missing woman and discovered her around 5.30am this morning before handing over the investigation to the police.
A breakwater, usually built outside a port, decreases the damage caused by the blows of the waves.
