- It comes weeks after another British tourist reported being raped on the beach.
A Swiss tourist has been arrested on suspicion of raping a British teenager in a restaurant in Magaluf.
The 17-year-old tourist told police his alleged attacker had followed him into the bathroom and forced him to eat after they shared drinks together at the end of a dinner show at the restaurant.
The British teenager had been out with friends but ended up partying with the Swiss national after they were put at the same table for the show despite not knowing each other.
He alerted security after leaving the toilets and gave them a description of the suspect before he was detained outside the restaurant and handed over to police when they arrived.
The young Briton was taken to hospital for a routine check-up before making a full statement.
