A 16-year-old boy has died after the car he was traveling in overturned and crashed into a tree.
Dylan Soklich was a passenger in a Toyota Corolla which overturned several times while exiting a road in Gooseberry Hill, east of Perth, about 8.40pm on Wednesday.
He was taken to St John of God Hospital in Maitland but could not be saved.

A 17-year-old P-plate driver and another 17-year-old passenger were seriously injured and airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital, where they are both now stable.

A resident who was among the first to arrive on the scene said she hugged Dylan as if he were “one of her own.”
“It was very sad, a horrible situation… I hugged him like he was my own, it was a very sad night,” she said.
Dylan’s brother Jamie visited the scene on Thursday and told Nine News his loved one “was the most loving and caring person”.
‘Everyone loved him and for good reason. He had the sweetest soul,” Jamie said.
‘I love you, Dylan’. Everyone misses you so much.’
“These are children in the prime of life looking forward to a future and simply as a result of making a split-second decision or lack of control they could lose their lives,” he said.
