Footage circulating on Twitter shows the student standing horribly close to the shorter teacher and repeatedly dialing his “dummy phone” before waving his fist at the teacher.

In the clip, a student repeatedly says “Give me my cell phone back,” the teacher calmly tells the student to “sit down.”

“Give me my phone,” the student was heard saying again, looking angry.

The student is then seen leaning on his back and hitting the teacher’s square in the face as an out-of-frame spectator screams in disbelief.

The person filming is seen to quickly finish recording as the brutal attack takes place.

DailyMail.com has contacted the students, parents, and Lamar Graves High School principal for comment.

Talking to Kho 11 The Texas chapter of the American Federation of Teachers (AFT), the second largest teachers’ union in America, said the child had made a “huge mistake.”

“Unfortunately, this kid made a huge mistake,” said Zev Capo, president of AFT Texas.

The capo called for HISD to properly punish the student and added that he would support the move to keep the student off campus.

“By all means, he should not be allowed to return to the usual campus,” Capo said. “This is not something to be tolerated.”

Capo and other teachers don’t think there could have been anything that warranted this kind of reaction, let alone a teacher’s phone confiscation that is permitted under certain circumstances in HISD schools.

“Unfortunately, we see a lot of this,” Capo said. “We see a lot of this happening towards our teachers and towards our school staff.”

According to the outlet, 520 incidents were recorded in the academic year 2021-2022, twice as many as in the previous five years.

There were nearly 1,200 assaults from 2017 – 202, according to TEA discipline reports obtained by the publication.

“I definitely experienced angry reactions,” Capo said. “I’ve definitely experienced students tossing their desks around the room.”

Capu said he was never bullied by a student even while working at an alternative school. He praised Lamar’s teacher for not resisting.

“And that’s another reason I hope this teacher is supported, that the principal does what needs to be done, and that the school district follows the law,” Capo said.

Depictions of disrespectful behavior towards school staff became commonplace the moment an angry female teacher quit her job and went viral last month.

Haunting TikTok footage captured the moment an upset teacher quit her job and walked out of a classroom saying, “I’m just a stupid old white lady.”

The woman, who was not recognized, looked distressed as she began to pack her belongings before exiting class.

At first the pupils can be heard laughing, before a male voice says “there’s no way” as she continues to walk out the door.

It remains unclear which school or even where in the US the incident took place, with text above the footage saying “They forced the teacher to leave.”

Just this week, an Ohio school bus driver was seen quitting in desperation after yelling at students who sprayed perfume on their bus in hopes of giving her an asthma attack.

A substitute teacher was jeered after she stormed out of a visibly upset classroom yelling, “I’m just a stupid old white lady!”

The 15-year-old driver quit after last week’s incident, and she’s got her hands up on what local outlets have told her was persistent bad behavior from a certain group of students on her line, who she claims bullied her out of work.

As the video garnered millions of views, Miller became an unlikely hero Dozens of people jumped to her defense in what they felt was a just reaction to a dangerous situation.

a A GoFundMe page was launched in support of her, and a local store began selling T-shirts with her infamous angry ad printed on them, donating the proceeds to school bus drivers associations.

Although Miller later told 3News that she regretted the incident, she said she would not take it back and that she felt her behavior was justified.

In the video, Miller is seen raiding the bus lane after a student tells her someone sprayed perfume.

“How long do you expect me to take it?” She exclaimed, then demanded to know which student had done it.

All of the students denied spraying anything, but Miller insisted she could “smell the stench.”

“I’m so sick of you, I’m done with it,” she said, referring to the students. I’m going to start kicking some serious a**.

‘Do you hear me?’ Screamed. “My feet would be so far f**king you’d dangle from your fucking nose.”

While the kids kept denying that they had sprayed the perfume, Miller insisted she could smell it, saying, “I’m allergic to it a**t.”

She said, “I have to get off this bus now and let you go home.”

Despite the severity of her reaction, Miller later defended her actions, telling 3News how just a month earlier the same group of students had sprayed perfume on a bus and caused her to have a serious asthma attack.

“I sprayed perfume on the bus and had a terrible asthma attack,” she said.

I had to stop the bus, grab my inhaler and try to open my lungs again. I made all the kids open all the windows they knew.

Miller explained that these students had been deliberately provoking her for years, and that when the perfume was sprayed again after the first incident, she finally had enough.

“I’m sorry about the way this happened, I really am,” she said. I apologize for my actions, but I will not take it back.

“This is an ordeal for all bus drivers, and we are being treated in the worst possible sense of the word,” she added. “We are treated with such disrespect.”

The Amherst Schools superintendent told 3News that the students were disciplined following the incident.

The owner of local clothing store Main Street Thread, Jackie Adkins, said she felt for Miller after watching the video and decided to make T-shirts in support of her.

We all felt it at that moment. We’ve all had bad days, we’ve all been through hardships and our hearts just went out for her.
