A teenage girl was killed while riding her bicycle on a major Florida coastal road, police said.
Kendra Ahrens, 15, was struck by a US Mail Carrier truck on Santa Barbara Boulevard Wednesday afternoon as she was heading home from work at a nearby water park.
She had been a varsity cheerleader at Mariner High and was working at Sun Splash Family Waterpark only during the summer, her parents said.
