Queensland Police is looking for a 12-year-old boy who went missing on the Sunshine Coast on Monday afternoon.

A family member last saw him on Kookaburra Crescent in Bokarina around 12.30.

Police say the missing young person is about 140 cm tall and has light brown hair.
