The daughter of a cricket legend has paid an emotional tribute to her father after getting married in the Philippines.
Dean Jones is widely regarded as one of the most loved Australian cricketers and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2019.
The elegant batsman who played for his country in the 1980s and 1990s died in September 2020, aged just 59.
He suffered a stroke in his Mumbai hotel in India while on commentary duties in the Indian Premier League.
Last Wednesday, Phoebe Jones – one of the Victorian’s three children – married her partner Darío Gómez on the island of Boracay in the Philippines.

And she made sure her father would not be forgotten on his special day, and had the number 324 embroidered on the veil she wore.
Jones, of course, was the 324th player to represent the Test team.
Phoebe’s sister, Augusta, was a bridesmaid and her mother, Jane, was among the guests at the ceremony.
The wedding had a white theme and there was also a sand sculpture with the words ‘Dario & Phoebe weddig, 24 April 2024’.
Phoebe posted on Instagram: “Feeling all the love after the week of our dreams.”
Augusta wrote: “The most beautiful week celebrating Mr. and Mrs. Gomez, so many smiles, tears and everlasting memories.”
