Gordon Ramsay is reported to be in talks with ITV to reboot Hell’s Kitchen after a 20-year hiatus.
The celebrity chef, 57, has not appeared on the show in the UK for two decades, and the revival would see him cook up a storm and pile up the pressure on a group of highly stressed competitors, according to Sun.
He relaunched the iconic show in 2004, when 11 celebrities battled it out to be the audience winner.
Gordon only appeared in one series of Hell’s Kitchen before taking the series global and launching the contest in the US and beyond.
The brilliantly wild show saw the chef rise to fame and he has become one of the most famous chefs in the world since its release.

The chef, 57, has not appeared on the show in the UK for two decades, and a revival of the show would see him cook up a storm and ramp up the pressure on a group of highly stressed competitors, according to The Sun.
A TV insider told the publication: “Early talks are taking place and ITV are very excited about the prospect of him returning.”
‘It’s by far one of Gordon’s biggest shows in the world and is broadcast in around 100 countries, so it’s really huge.
“The real challenge for him will be to fit it in between his other commitments, but everyone seems excited by the mere idea.”
After Gordon left the show, Hell’s Kitchen UK continued for three more seasons.
He was replaced by a series of famous professional chefs, including Gary Rhodes, Jean-Christophe Novelli and Marco Pierre White.
The last UK series was presented in 2009 by TV veteran Claudia Winkleman, now presenter of The Traitors and Strictly Come Dancing.
Gordon struck a deal with rival ITV Channel 4 after this, fronting series such as The F Word and Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares, but continued to front Hell’s Kitchen when it launched on television in the US.
The American version began in 2005 and has had 18 seasons to date, the most recent in 2019, titled Hell’s Kitchen: Rookies vs. Veterans.

On the show, celebrities went to the kitchen to work under Gordon’s tutelage to prepare delicious feasts and serve them to guests.
Gordon’s UK series featured the likes of musical theater star Jennifer Ellison, who won, comedian Gimme Gimme Gimme James Dreyfus, pop legend Belinda Carlisle, corrie star Amanda Barrie, glamor girl Abi Titmuss , Bros star Matt Goss and politician Edwina Currie.
The new host and start date for filming the reboot have not been discussed because the alleged talks are reportedly at an early stage.
