The Mar Vista, California home that actress Anne Heche walked into nearly two years ago, leading to her tragic death at age 53, has been restored and hit the market for $1.35 million.

Heche died on August 11 at the age of 53, six days after the accident that left her with injuries that would prove fatal.

The house, which has three bedrooms and three bathrooms, was photographed on Tuesday and appeared to be fully restored following the accident on August 5, 2022.

In the deadly incident, Heche drove her Mini Cooper into the west Los Angeles home just before 11 a.m., starting a fire from which she was not freed for about 45 minutes, according to Los Angeles City Fire Department records. Angels reviewed by KNBC.

Immediately following the accident, Heche was initially transported to the emergency room at Ronald Regan UCLA Medical Center and later transferred to the Grossman Burn Center at West Hills Hospital and Medical Center.

Heche was being investigated for felony DUI in the incident, but authorities thwarted any legal moves in that regard after her death.

The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner ultimately determined that Heche’s cause of death was the result of injuries caused by the car accident. MY! News reported, citing official records.

Heche suffered thermal and inhalation injuries, a fractured sternum, a lacerated kidney and severe burns to more than 10 percent of his body, coroners said.

In almost two years since the horrific accident, Heche’s estate has been sued by several different parties regarding damages caused by the incident, as well as regarding unresolved business issues that the actress had at the time of her death.

Heche is survived by her son Homer, 22, from her previous marriage to Coley Laffoon, 48, and her son Atlas, 15, with ex-partner James Tupper, 58.

Heche had won a Daytime Emmy Award for her work on the soap opera Another World and appeared in several high-profile films of the late ’90s, including Donnie Brasco, Wag the Dog, Six Days Seven Nights and Psycho.
