Megyn Kelly has revealed that she voted for Donald Trump in the 2020 election after “really struggling with it.”
The host of ‘The Megyn Kelly Show’ recalled her internal struggle before the 2020 elections and emphasized her reservations when it came to supporting the former president.
“I had a long contentious relationship with Donald Trump, as you may know,” she said on Friday’s episode of the show. ‘And going into 2020, I didn’t know if I could pull the lever for him. I really didn’t.’
‘The world had moved beneath our feet. He had gone crazy with DEI and the trans ideology nonsense that was being fed to my own children in school. And I really struggled with that.”
But when she saw President Joe Biden release changes to Title IX – the 1972 law that prohibits sex discrimination in federally funded school programs – she was “horrified” and relieved to have “no blood on her hands.”
Now, he said there is “no way I’m voting for Joe Biden.”

After Biden’s Title IX changes, she says she’s relieved to not have blood on her hands. Now, she said there is “no way I’m voting for Joe Biden.”
“I voted for Donald Trump to avoid things like this,” he said.
The Biden administration on Friday released rules expected to go into effect Aug. 1 that protect the rights of LGBTQ students and change how schools can respond to allegations of sexual assault and misconduct.
It was a long-awaited response to campaign promises made by President Biden to roll back Trump-era regulations that he said were “silencing survivors.”
He continued to criticize Biden’s new Title IX change, arguing that they are harmful to women’s rights, due process, and freedom of expression on college campuses.
‘What happened today, and when I saw the news about what Joe Biden just did with women’s rights, Title IX and due process for young men on college campuses and free speech, I was horrified. And my second reaction was at least I don’t have this blood on my hands,” Kelly said.
Under the new rules, in-person, court-like procedures are no longer required for sexual assault allegations, including cross-examination of alleged victims.
This rolls back the Trump administration’s protections for accused students that victims’ advocates say re-traumatized survivors and discouraged reporting.
Schools will now have the flexibility to question witnesses in live hearings or in separate meetings. If a school chooses to hold a live hearing, alleged victims have the right to attend remotely.
‘I’m ashamed of him! You disgust me, Miguel Cardona! What a shame! What happened today as a result of the change in Title IX is that your daughter or you, if you are a college-age woman, will now have to go to your college bathroom, your college locker room, and confront men who are posing as by women. many of whom are only there because they like to wear women’s clothes,” Kelly said.
‘They will literally get erections because they are wearing a dress in the women’s locker room. Your child will have to see it and there is nothing you can do about it. Nothing!’
The delay in addressing bans on trans athletes is widely seen as a political maneuver as President Joe Biden competes for re-election against former President Donald Trump. Biden is photographed Thursday during a campaign trip to Philadelphia.

One of the most recognized trans athletes is former University of Pennsylvania swimmer Lia Thomas. Thomas was the first openly transgender athlete to win an NCAA Division I national championship, in March 2022.
Kelly said that after the current administration changes Title IX, “There is no way I am voting for Joe Biden or anyone who supports this abomination.”
‘I don’t care, I would vote for RFK Jr., I would vote for Trump. But I think Trump is the only answer. RFK Jr. is a little weak on this one, to be completely honest with you. But there is no way I will vote for Joe Biden or anyone who supports this abomination,” he said.
‘We have to undo it. Not complying. The rules will not take effect until August. Don’t comply. Don’t use their language, protect your daughters. Struggle. Protect your children. Talk loud. And the first step in all of that is understanding exactly what we’re dealing with.”
Earlier this week, Kelly criticized Trump’s ongoing hush money trial, describing it as “shameful” and a humiliation for the United States.
It is the first time that a former US president has faced a criminal trial.
Kelly said this broke a 250-year precedent and was an example of the legal system being used against a former president in what was a “humiliation” of the country “like a whore.”
The charges center on $130,000 in payments Trump’s company made to his then-lawyer, Michael Cohen.
