The show about the Australian animated family, which airs on BBC and Disney+ in the UK, sparked cancellation fears when a story revealed their 15-20 bedroom home in Brisbane was on the market for $6 million. Australian dollars (£3 million).
Flooding Twitter, parents voiced their concerns about what the story means for the future of the show, with threats of “riots” if the heartwarming show concludes.
Bluey creator Joe Brumm told the Australian newspaper Daily Telegraph that the rambling historic home in trendy Brisbane’s Paddington has a wraparound terrace and “15 to 20 bedrooms” and has been spotted on estate agent websites.

It comes after Bluey fans were left in a panic after being urged to rewatch five main episodes of the children’s cartoon before the show’s “giant finale” on April 14.
The final episode of the third season will be 28 minutes long (four times longer than regular episodes) and is destined to “change the popular Heeler family forever.”
The release of the mega episode caused panic among thousands of fans, with many thinking it meant the cartoon would end forever.
But fans were simply urged to rewatch five episodes, including Campsite from the first season, and Onesies and Double Babysitter from the third season, as they have important storylines that will be resolved in the finale.
Bluey’s creator Joe Brumm told the Daily Telegraph the heritage house features a wrap-around terrace and “15 to 20 bedrooms”.
The publication also reported that a Brisbane real estate agent estimates the house is “worth $6 million.”
