A man died on the street in Adelaide after passers-by desperately tried to save him.
Emergency services were called to Barrpowell St in Welland, an industrial area in the west of the city, about 1.30am on Wednesday after the man was found unconscious.
Witnesses tried to help the man but he died at the scene.
South Australian police are treating his death as suspicious. It is understood he may have been assaulted.
Senior criminal officers, crime scene investigators and Western District detectives remained on scene Wednesday morning.

Barrpowell St and Musgrave Ave have been closed while the investigation into the circumstances of the man’s death continues.
Anyone with information, including dashcam or CCTV footage from the area, has been urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
