Harry Potter star Afshan Azad-Kazi was congratulated by her co-stars after revealing she is pregnant with her second child.
The actress, 36, is best known for playing Padma Patil in the hit film series, most notably Goblet of Fire.
Afshan took to Instagram to share her news, posting a sweet photo of her daughter Kyra placing her hands on her growing belly.
Among those offering congratulations was former co-star Evanna Lynch, who wrote: “Congratulations Afshan!”
Bonnie Wright commented: ‘I love you’, while Jessie Cave shared a series of applause emojis.

Earlier this week, Afshan admitted that she had “felt like absolute death” during her second pregnancy, but was finally starting to feel “human again.”
Posting a beaming selfie, she captioned her post: “Months and months feeling like absolute death, I finally feel human again.” Thank you for all your love on my recent news.
‘Alhamdulillah for all the blessings of Allah.’
Announcing her pregnancy, Afshan captioned her post: ‘A very special Mother’s Day this year to celebrate our growing family.
Afshan, who played Ravenclaw student Padma in five of the Harry Potter films, announced her first pregnancy in April 2021.
After marrying her husband Nabil Kazi in a lavish ceremony in 2018, she now works as a beauty influencer.
Afshan previously landed the role of Padma when casting agents visited her school and auditioned for the role “just for fun”.
Speaking about her role on the show, she previously said The Deccan Chronicle: ‘It is a great honor for people to still appreciate and recognize me as Padma.
