The ABC chairman’s niece, Ita Buttrose, was allegedly beaten by a man before sharing photos of her with a bloody nose online.

Former Sydney socialite and former Real Housewives star Lizzie Buttrose shared a photo of her bloody nose and chin on social media over the weekend.

Ms Buttrose’s caption accused the man who assaulted her of being “pure evil, supposedly”.

Friends of Mrs Buttrose commented on the clashing images and asked if the 54-year-old was “ok”.

Buttrose has since deleted the post and instead shared photos of his pet parrot Louis.

In 2017, Buttrose allegedly claimed she was assaulted by her ex-fiancé Zoran Mijadzevic.

Police granted an Arrested Violence Order (AVO) on behalf of Ms Buttrose following allegations against the cage fighter.

At the time, police alleged Mijadzevic backhanded Buttrose in the face, defaced a piano and punched a hole in a wall at the couple’s Vaucluse home.

Mrs Buttrose fought the AVO. Police were called to the couple’s home 13 times over a 10-month period.

Mijadzevic, who was the seventh man to whom Ms Buttrose was also engaged, was not charged and is not credited with being responsible for the recent assault.
