‘PD Ace was a dedicated and hardworking member of the police force.

“He will be greatly missed.”

Constable Elphick spoke to WA Police’s Persons of Interest podcast in February and spoke of Ace as his “best friend” and a “really good guy”.

“He is very well trained and over the years we have developed a great bond between us,” he said.

‘He’s a beautiful boy but he knows how to turn it on when he needs it.
