Angel Reese appeared to become angry at LSU coach Kim Mulkey for “bringing me the damn ball” during her team’s 94-87 loss to Iowa in the Elite Eight on Monday night.
Reese’s outburst came late in the first half, with the game tied 41-41.
She finished the contest with 17 points, but it took 21 shots to get there and fouled out with 1:45 left in the game.
The center may have been hobbled by an ankle injury, as she fell in the first half and limped off the court before returning to the game.
At another point in the contest, Reese appeared to tell his teammates to “stop making stupid shots” during a timeout.

LSU shot just 38.6 percent from the field as the Hawkeyes avenged their national championship loss last year.
Meanwhile, Iowa’s offense thrived as Caitlin Clark totaled a whopping 41 points to go along with 12 assists and five rebounds.
After the game, Reese’s teammate Flau’Jae Johnson told reporters “You all don’t know Angel,” as Reese said, “I’ve been attacked so many times.”
For Reese, this may be the end of her college career, as the 21-year-old participated in LSU’s Senior Night and previously spoke about her ambition to play in the WNBA.
Meanwhile, Iowa will face the winner of USC-UConn in the Final Four.
Reese also appeared to criticize his teammates for “taking dumb shots” during the game.

After the game, Clark said, “This one (making the Final Four) probably feels a little better.” It’s my last year with this group.’
‘Many people told us at the beginning of the year about the people we lost. And all we did was work very hard. Coming back here is really difficult. This regional was loaded with a lot of talent. The work is not finished.’
‘We really knew he was on the defensive end. We knew we were going to be able to be good on offense,” added Clark, who was named the region’s Most Outstanding Player.
‘We’ve been good on offense all year. I think it was just about making stops and being physical. They bounced very well, but we weathered every storm. You have to give them a lot of credit. They had a great year.”
