Celebrity Big Brother has been hit by Ofcom complaints over the “treatment” of Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu on Late & Live following her eviction.
The reality star, 29, who won Love Island in 2020, was kicked out of the house on Friday night, after which she caused a storm on social media by insisting she had been badly edited on the show without a real description of his behavior.
His comments led to a violent clash with panelist Layton Williams, who said: “We’re not blaming the edit girl!”
She then threw ITV’s Lorraine into chaos on Monday morning when she inexplicably canceled an appearance on the show at the last minute.
Ekin-Su had caused controversy in the house after appearing annoyed by theater star Marisha Wallace’s face-to-face nomination and being slammed by fans for her “hysterical” crying.

Ofcom received 139 complaints, according to Express.co.ukwith a spokesperson telling the publication: “Complaints related to treatment of Ekin-Su by presenters and guest panel.”
Late And Live descended into chaos on Friday as she clashed with Layton following his eviction from the house.

While some fans called the former Strictly star a “bully” and said he did to Ekin-Su what others did to him during his time on the dance show, others didn’t disagreed and dubbed him the “voice of the people.”

Speaking of the dramatic performance, which saw Ekin-Su score the theater star as “fake”, Layton hit back at the reality star by revealing his full support for Marisha during the confrontation.
Ekin exclaimed: “When Marisha nominated me, it showed me her true colors, that she had been thinking about winning the game the whole time.
Host AJ Odudu tried to reason with the star by suggesting: “Well what we have to remember, you know she’s American, it’s strategy, game.”

But Layton was quick to chime in, explaining, “Marisha basically had to choose someone and she chose you, just like you chose Louis.”
“Louis crushed it, you know, and kind of kept it moving and unfortunately, you dragged it and I kind of felt compassion for Marisha at that point.
“I was like, you know what her big day is, we just found out she was nominated for an Olivier Award and saw her cry in Big Brother…” while Ekin-Su interrupted: “You did it” I didn’t see everything they cut, but ok.
Yet Layton was having none of it, as he replied: “Don’t blame the editing, one thing we’re not going to do is blame the editing.”
“We do not blame the person responsible for the assembly. We see what we see and it was just a shame, it was a real shame.
As host Will Best opened it up to the audience to try and get some support for Ekin-Su, he had trouble finding an audience member who was on his side.
Ekin-Su’s family and friends also took to social media during her time on the show to ask fans to stop criticizing her, saying it was difficult for them to read “hateful comments” and “threats of physical abuse.

As Lorraine Kelly teased her upcoming show on Good Morning Britain on Monday, she told host Susanna Reid that Ekin-Su’s planned appearance had been canceled under mysterious circumstances – leading to a sarcastic dig at Susanna’s part.
Lorraine, 64, said: “She was supposed to come but no. We are trying to find out. She wasn’t happy, sometimes you think it’s fiction, but she really wasn’t happy at all.
Susanna then made an apparent reference to Ekin-Su’s proclamations, saying: “That’s why I like live TV because then you know what really happened and there’s no of criticism of the edits”, to which Lorraine replied: “Yes, the direct is much better”. ‘
