“And then I got really brave and went out the window and said, ‘What did you just say? “And then he said to me: ‘Nothing, I didn’t say anything.’

“Then when the light turned green again, he became brave and arrogant, then started shouting curses again.”

Jorgie admitted she was “so shocked” by the comments and revealed she filmed the man shouting insults and posted it on social media, leading to the “firing of the ‘man of work’.

She said: “I was so shocked because I thought it wasn’t happening. I thought, “Oh my God.” And I also wanted to give it back to him, I literally wanted to chase him.

“We filmed them, and then I released it, because I was like, ‘Absolutely not, you can’t get away with that.’

‘He’s my best friend, like, anyone who starts with my best friend, I’m like, ‘No, I got you.’

“People knew who it was, so I think they were fired from their jobs. But, you know, it was just a huge shock that this kind of thing was still happening.

“You don’t want this to happen to anyone, but especially not to Kieron, who is the best man in the world.”

The soap star came out as gay live on This Morning in 2010.

He married his long-term partner Carl in April 2015 in a ceremony in the Peak District.

When Kieron came out in 2010, his character in Hollyoaks was coming to terms with his own sexuality as he fell for bad boy Brendan Brady.

On carefully helping Kieron come out in 2010, Phillip Schofield said: “Of course it’s on TV and it’s part of a character, but there are elements here that are actually quite close to your life. And what would they be?

Kieron then revealed his truth, responding: “The fact that I’m gay in real life and at 20, I kind of accepted it myself. Now I can finally relate to my character Ste, that he’s 20 years old and going through things that I’ve been through in my past.

Phillip added: “People who know you will know it’s not a big surprise, because your friends know it, your work colleagues know it, you’ve had a conversation with your parents, but you haven’t never said it out loud.’

Looking nervous, Kieron continued to say that during his time on Dancing On Ice earlier that year, bosses had offered him the chance to reveal his sexuality on the show.

He declined because he did not want his personal life to overshadow his participation in the competition.

Keiron said: “But now I think it’s relevant and the storyline is relevant to certain situations in my life and if maybe I could help people who are going through the same thing, then that’s a bonus. “
