A sex worker arrested in revealing black leather lingerie has admitted she was drink-driving when a cyclist crashed into her car.

Cindy Pham, 27, was riding along South Dowling Street near Moore Park, Sydney, to a client when a 29-year-old cyclist plowed into her car about 3.30am on February 4.

While Pham was cleared of responsibility for the crash, a breathalyzer test administered by police at the scene returned a positive result.

She appeared in Downing Center Local Court on Thursday where she pleaded guilty to a charge of mid-level drink driving.

After her arrest, Pham was taken to the Surry Hills police station, where a second breathalyzer test reportedly returned a positive reading of 0.095, nearly twice the legal limit.

The sex worker from Liverpool was later taken to St Vincent’s Hospital where she underwent mandatory blood and urine tests.

She told police she had been traveling between clients at the time of the crash.

A taxi driver who happened to be passing by at the time of the incident caught the crash on dash cam footage, which showed the cyclist driving into the path of Pham’s Suzuki sedan.

The footage, which was turned over to investigators, also showed the sedan running over the man immediately after he fell from the seat.

Emergency services responded to the scene, where they found the male cyclist with life-threatening injuries and tire marks across his chest.

Paramedics spent an hour treating the man at the scene before he was transported to St Vincent’s Hospital, where he remains in intensive care in a ‘serious but stable condition’.

Pham faces a DUI charge on April 18.
