A Sydney resident was stunned to find a “super sweet” note under his car’s windscreen wiper – but not everyone was impressed.
The note said: ‘I washed your car. Happy new year 2025.’
The Ryde resident shared the note on social media and expressed his gratitude for the random act of kindness.
“My neighbor washed my car anonymously and left a note that I thought was super sweet,” they said.
‘I hope they follow your page too, because I would like to thank them for this act of kindness, but I would also like to remain anonymous.
‘I’ll pay this in advance. “Ryde is the best.”
Many Ryde residents were deeply moved by the moving event.

“Where is this address? Can I leave my car there too?” one asked.
However, some locals were concerned about the idea of people loitering around their cars.
“It’s a nice gesture, but to be honest, I wouldn’t want anyone touching my car,” said one.
Another man said he “wouldn’t like this, not knowing what products they used.”
