In a new clip posted to the platform last week, Only Fans celebrity Violet Starr took to the social media platform to share her interaction with a man at a gym and sparked debate.

A woman claimed a man was being inappropriate with her at the gym, but when she shared footage of their interaction online it backfired spectacularly.

OnlyFans personality Violet Starr uploaded a clip of her interaction with the anonymous man to tiktok last week as an example of why some women feel uncomfortable while exercising, but some viewers reportedly weren’t on her side.

“This is why I don’t go to public gyms anymore,” Starr wrote in white text at the top of her video.

The 22-second video, which has reached more than 108,000 views since it was posted, showed Starr entering the gym as an older-looking man who spoke with an accent approached him.

‘Excuse me, what are you, like a teacher?’ he asked her.

Starr responded to tell him that she was not a teacher, but he continued to explain why he thought she was an instructor in the first place.

“Since you’re so physically fit and you exercise so much, I thought maybe you were a teacher or something,” he said with a smile.

“No, I’m not,” Starr repeated.

In the video’s caption, she wrote, “That awkward moment at the gym that made me want to skip… until you walked in.”

DailyMail.com has contacted Starr for comment.

When the video was initially posted, there were tons of comments debating the issue and many viewers took the man’s side, according to daily point, but Starr has since disabled them.

Before turning off comments, Starr wrote that “while the video interaction was relatively calm, she thought about pulling out her phone and filming after more direct harassment from the men,” according to the outlet.

According to a 2021 survey of run repeat, 56.37 percent of female gym members have experienced harassment while exercising at the gym.

This number was 2.68 times higher than the male gym members they surveyed.

However, Starr isn’t the only person who has filmed her uncomfortable gym experience in recent months.

In 2023, some women took to TikTok to film themselves working out in an attempt to catch predatory men at the gym.

At the time, videos with the hashtag #GymCreep and #GymWeirdo, mostly uploaded by users in the UK and US, had amassed more than 100 million views on the platform.

That year, American influencer Gina went viral when she shared a clip of a “creepy” man who stood near where she was lifting weights.

She wrote: “Watch this creep come close to my personal bubble while doing (deadlifts).”

As she continues to lift weights, the clip shows the unnamed older man positioned right behind Gina.

Gina said: “The gym was practically empty and (there are) so many corners to be in and he chose this one.”

She continued: “I’ve been in this corner for 10 minutes before him and I only had one game left.”

Determined not to let him interrupt her workout, Gina continued doing squats in front of the mirror.

In the background, the man, whom she accused of ogling her minutes before, can be seen moving a weight from side to side, near her.

Explaining why she had taken out her camera, Gina added: “I started recording it, so now we feel awkward together.”

“I was literally looking at my (butt) before this.”

What’s more, Gina said she felt so threatened by the man’s behavior that she didn’t feel safe returning.

He added: “I will never return to this gym.” Gina urged other women to stay alert and captioned the clip: ‘Be careful girls because what the f**k?’
