Two men are in hospital after a violent fight broke out between two groups near the Continental Hotel on Point Nepean Road in Sorrento, on the Mornington Peninsula, at 2am on Friday.

Two men are in hospital and police are now investigating after a wild brawl broke out following a night of Boxing Day celebrations.

Victoria Police said in a statement that two groups of men got into a wild fight near the Continental Hotel and that their ‘“The investigation is ongoing.”

An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson confirmed they had transported a man suffering from injuries to his upper and lower body. to Alfred Hospital in stable condition.

Police have urged anyone with information about what happened on CCTV cameras of the fight to contact them immediately.
