Roseanne alum Sara Gilbert has finalized her divorce from singer-songwriter Linda Perry, five years after they first went their separate ways.
Perry, 59, and Gilbert, 49, married in 2014 and welcomed their now nine-year-old son, Rhodes, the following year before separating in 2019.
In late 2021 it was widely reported that the couple had finalized their divorce, but it has now emerged that they were only declared legally separated at that time.
Now, however, the judicial process has concluded and the marriage was officially dissolved last Thursday, according to reports People.
The former couple agreed to joint custody of their son in 2021, and in the new documents, Gilbert marked an item indicating that the agreement “has not changed.”
They share both legal and physical custody, and day-to-day decisions about Rhode’s education will be “the responsibility of the party in whose home Rhodes currently resides,” according to the terms of their separation.
