Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s new docuseries, which aims to capture the spirit of polo in the United States, has failed to impress American critics. Despite the couple’s efforts to highlight the sport, the show has received negative feedback, with many calling it unattractive and uninspired.

In an article for The cutWriter Danielle Lee Cohen shared her thoughts on the docu-series, stating, “Personally, I haven’t felt compelled to watch Polo, but according to critics, it’s ‘tedious,’ ‘mostly boring,’ and ‘doomed to fail.'” submenus in darkness at the speed of light.

Oh”. Reviews have been harsh, with many expressing disappointment at the show’s lack of appeal. Although the Duke and Duchess of Sussex co-produced the series, Cohen suggests that it seems more like Harry’s personal project.

As a long-time polo player, Harry reportedly had a vision for the show, but neither he nor Meghan feature prominently in the series, which has increased dissatisfaction. Cohen added“Although the couple co-produced the show, it seems to have been more of Harry’s pet project (he’s a long-time polo player and apparently ‘had a vision’), but neither he nor his wife appear much in the series, so which provokes even more criticism. The release of the docu-series comes after Prince Harry and Meghan made headlines with their departure from the British Royal Family in 2020. The couple subsequently accused the Royal Family of racism towards their son, Prince Archie, and publicly shared his complaints in an interview.

The family now resides in California, where they also welcomed their daughter, Princess Lilibet. Despite their efforts to branch out into new projects, the negative reception to their polo docuseries highlights the challenges Harry and Meghan face in carving out a successful career in the entertainment industry.
