Michael B. Jordan received an unwanted visit to his Los Angeles home before the holidays from a man falsely claiming to be a member of his “security.”
Police sources revealed to TMZ that the intruder was seen in Jordan’s front yard Wednesday afternoon.
After the 37-year-old actor’s security called authorities, the suspect was immediately escorted “off the property” while they “waited for the police.”
The intruder claimed he was part of Jordan’s security while speaking to police, who dutifully took all of the suspect’s information.
While Jordan was home at the time of the incident, the outlet reported that he “left the house” while the man spoke with officers.
Although Jordan’s team initially told police they “just wanted to get him out of there,” they ended up deciding to “press charges after all.”
The LAPD ended up taking a trespass report and “conducting their investigation and then referring the case to prosecutors for possible charges.”

“It was a real accident,” a source told DailyMail.com. ‘Michael was upset because he ruined his car, but that can be fixed. He was, and is, embarrassed by all of this since he accidentally stepped on the accelerator and didn’t stop in time.
