Georgia Kousoulou has shared a health update on her daughter Gigi after taking her newborn to A&E following a terrifying health scare.
The former TOWIE star, 33, welcomed her second child with husband Tommy Mallet, 31, last month.
Georgia, who also shares two-year-old son Brody with Tommy, rushed Gigi to the hospital after noticing she had bronchitis.
Bronchitis is an inflammation of the airways of the lungs that is usually caused by an infection. It often improves without treatment in about 3 weeks.
Now, Georgia has revealed that Gigi will be discharged from hospital, just in time to spend Christmas at home with her family.
Alongside a photo of Georgia cradling her baby, he wrote: “Time to take you home for Christmas baby.” After a long and stressful week in the hospital, Gigi is allowed to return home. Gigi’s bronchitis worsened and she needed oxygen.

‘What I learned most is to always follow your instinct and if you think your baby is not well, always check!
‘Thank you to the nurses and doctors at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow. They were amazing with GIGI.
“Thank you to our family for keeping things at home with Brody…and to our friends for checking in, we love you.”
Georgia also shared a positive update earlier this week, admitting: ‘Guys, thank you so much for sending me more messages about Gigi. Okay, but bronchitis is no joke, it’s horrible. It’s very scary, as you can see, I’m still in my pajamas.
‘My mom is here and Tom’s dad is downstairs. I’ve had Tom’s mom here, Brody doesn’t go to school for Christmas and now I don’t want her to have him. When you have a newborn and a toddler, it’s very difficult.
‘I’ve been up all night watching her breathe, if your son has had bronchitis you’ll know what I’m talking about because he’s just gasping for air. It’s not nice, it’s really not nice.’
She added: “I’m feeding little and often, checking his temperature all the time and just watching his breathing all the time.”
‘His chest sank a little when he breathed, but gently. I’m holding her up, that’s all you can do.
