Ezra Mam’s shocking trafficking history has been revealed following the Brisbane Broncos star’s sentencing for being involved in a car crash with cocaine in his system.
The Broncos playmaker has been recalled by the club and faces an NRL investigation and sanctions following the October car crash.
The 21-year-old player was involved in a head-on collision with an Uber in which a mother and her four-year-old daughter were traveling, who suffered minor injuries.
Court documents revealed that Mam had 0.01 mg/L of cocaine in his system, which he admitted to using socially the day before the accident.

In court, Mam pleaded guilty to charges of driving with a relevant drug present in the blood and driving without a licence. He was fined $850, banned from driving for six months and avoided a criminal conviction.
Magistrate Mark Nolan called Mam’s actions “stupid” and emphasized the risks he posed to himself and others.
“There is no place for illicit drugs in our community, and there is certainly no place for a person who uses illicit drugs to get behind the wheel of a car,” he said.
In her written apology to the court, Mam expressed deep remorse and called the incident a “turning point” in her life.
“I now understand how dangerous and irresponsible my actions were, not only for me but for everyone who was on the road that day,” Mom wrote.
