Lynda Carter had the opportunity to celebrate the holidays by spending time at the White House and shared an intimate Christmas portrait from her visit.
The Wonder Woman actress, 73, who recently joined forces with Ryan Reynolds for a SickKids Foundation video, posted the photo to Instagram on Wednesday posing with President Joe Biden and his wife, Jill Biden.
Vice President Kamala Harris and her husband, Douglas Emhoff, as well as two other guests, were photographed together between two decorated Christmas trees and beneath a portrait of George Washington in the Diplomatic Reception Room.
However, social media users quickly jumped into the comments section to point out how Joe appeared to be very close to Carter, while his wife, Jill, was inches away from the others.
One wrote: “Same Joe,” followed by a laughing face emoji, while another added: “Why does @flotus look like he’s photobombing?”
One fan responded to the comment by sharing: ‘I was wondering the same thing!’

Another wrote: ‘Awesome! You gotta love Joe,” followed by a laughing face emoji.
In response, one Instagram user asked: ‘Why love Joe? Why was Jill so far away from Joe?
Some of the comments were even more brutal, referring to the president’s age and decline.
In the portrait, Lynda could be seen towards the center of the group as she wowed in a long-sleeved gold dress that fell to the floor.
The star’s brunette locks were parted down the middle and fell effortlessly over her shoulders in elegant curls.
She flashed a cheerful smile as they stood in front of a fireplace in the living room, which is directly below the Oval Office and a favorite spot for visitors to pose.
Joe wore a classic black suit, while his wife, Jill, who recently decked out the White House with Christmas decorations, opted for a champagne-colored ensemble.
In the caption of his latest post, Carter wrote to his nearly 300,000 followers: ‘Merry Christmas! What an honor to be in the White House once again. With love, admiration and friendship, Lynda.’
Last month in November, she encouraged her fans to vote during the 2024 presidential election by sharing a photo of herself wrapped in an American flag.

While standing on a dimly lit stage, she looked into the distance when a light illuminated her.
At the time, she had written: ‘Women united! Vote for reproductive freedom! Vote for @kamalaharris and @timwalz! VOTE BLUE!’
In April, Carter also got glammed up to attend the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington DC.
She turned heads in a dark navy blue dress with embellishments on the front and a fuzzy shawl that fell to her elbows.
Lynda has been keeping busy during the holiday season and recently starred alongside Ryan Reynolds in a video for the SickKids Foundation earlier this month.
He also got help on the comedy video from his eight-year-old daughter Inez, whom he shares with wife Blake Lively.
As part of their campaign to raise awareness for the SickKids Foundation, the acting couple will match any donation to the foundation up to $500,000.
Reynolds, who Forbes reported was worth $71.5 million in 2020, appeared on a rooftop in his Deadpool ensemble with what appeared to be Santa’s sleigh.
‘Benevolence is thirsty work!’ he yelled as he threw a bag inside as Inez, who played Kidpool in Deadpool & Wolverine, sat on it.

‘Where are we going now?’ he asked as they prepared for the next stop of the night, and Ryan replied, “Well, I thought we’d take out the sick kids.”
“Oh, man, that’s so fucked up,” Kidpool said as Deadpool sputtered and tried to correct himself.
“We are eliminating the disease by encouraging people to donate,” he clarified.
But he thought it was a job for more than just the two of them, since they were “technically rated R” and might not be appropriate for little ones.
Then there was a burst of sound and light, and suddenly actress Lynda Carter was seen crouching with her fist on the ground.
‘Did someone call for help?’ He asked before breaking into a grin from ear to ear. It was clearly alluding to her leading role in the Wonder Woman television series, which aired from 1975 to 1979.
“Aren’t you a…wonderful woman?” Deadpool said. Carter was on board, so he asked her to “do the thing,” at which point she began spinning in a circle like her Wonder Woman character would to disguise herself while bathed in golden light.
But corporate intellectual property rights seemed to get in the way, when Carter’s appearance suddenly changed to a green and red Christmas sweater with a large gold bow placed over her abdomen, just like the sweater Reynolds has worn in the film’s ads. SickKids Foundation.
After she looked dumbfounded at the sweater, the Deadpool family yelled ‘fuck!’ in quick succession.
‘Who did this?!’ Carter asked, horrified, and Deadpool replied, ‘DC’s lawyers.’ I knew it!’

He joked that the culprit was “probably the same guy who got (Superman star Henry) Cavill and that other Batman.”
At the end of the clip, Deadpool said they should untie Santa after finishing his job, but Kidpool yelled ‘Never!’
Reynolds and Lively will match donations to the SickKids Foundation, founded in 1972, until midnight on December 24.
The organization helps raise funds for the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.
