A terrifying Christmas TV series has just landed on ITVX and already has viewers hooked.
Pronounced Nosferatu, NOS4A2 is a new supernatural thriller based on the best-selling 2013 novel by Joe Hill.
The show follows Charlie Manx, an immortal seducer who feeds on the souls of children to sustain his twisted existence.
Their victims are transported to a sinister town called Christmasland, where the law prohibits unhappiness.
But when a young working-class artist in New England discovers her supernatural ability to open portals to find lost items, she becomes his biggest threat.
As Vic McQueen discovers more about the dark universe, he will soon come face to face with Charlie, but risks losing his sanity.

Actor Zachary Quinto takes on the role of supernatural villain Charlie in the supernatural series
He sees him transform with prosthetics into an ancient being, something that greatly attracted the actor.
He told Vulture: “I had been actively looking for a role that would allow me to disappear and really get lost in the physicality of the character.
‘Everything that can be done with prosthetics, we did. “There really wasn’t any part of my face left uncovered,” he added.
It also sees Australian actor Ashleigh Cummings, who viewers will know from Westside and Gallipoli.
Supporting cast members include Ólafur Darri Ólafsson as Bing Partridge, Virginia Kull as Linda McQueen and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Chris McQueen.
Series creator Jami O’Brien told The Wrap: “It’s kind of a fun twist on the vampire genre.
“Charlie Manx is a kind of vampire, but he’s not any kind of vampire we’ve seen before.”

NOS4A2 first landed on ITVX on December 16, giving viewers a new festive horror to focus on.
Despite its release in the US in 2019, this is the first time it has been available for Brits to stream.
UK viewers have taken to X, formerly Twitter, to share their thoughts on the show.
They wrote: ‘NOS4A2 is now available on ITVX. What a great series!’
“I just finished NOS4A2 and I really loved it.”
In response, another replied: ‘One of the best horror series, period.’
The show has a score of 82% on the review site Rotten Tomatoes.
